American Corporate Partners (ACP), is a nationwide mentoring program dedicated to helping veterans transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce through mentoring, career counseling, and networking with professionals from some of America's finest corporations and select universities. ACP has a presence in 15 cities throughout the country in addition to a robust E-Mentoring program.

Roughly one-third of veteran applicants to the ACP program have expressed an interest in small business development and entrepreneurship. ACP believes that the traits of a returning veteran - leadership, tenacity and ambition - are the same traits required to be a successful business owner. For these reasons, ACP and IBM have teamed up to help meet the needs of veterans that are interested in starting their own small businesses.
